Technical Sales Executive
Experience in Environmental Data Management Software Applications with a proven sales track record - sound knowledge of the Site Investigation and/or Contaminated Land Industry - qualification in one or more of the following disciplines:-

  • Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineering
  • Environmental Science
  • Geographical Information Systems & Electronic Mapping

Salary is negotiable. West Midlands based but re-location should not be necessary.

We are looking for a sales executive with experience in selling to Local Authorities, Environmental and Civil Engineering Consultants, and Site Investigation Companies.

This role will involve travelling to customers' sites in the UK and overseas and it is vital that the candidate has the experience, confidence and communication skills to handle customers on a face to face basis. The ability to interact with upper echelons of management and the timely closing of sales are also essential skills.

The successful candidate will be required to develop a high standard of expertise in a range of software applications, and to gather information on present and future needs in the target market areas, passing on this data to Product Managers for further development.

Day to day duties will include: -

  • Organising Sales Events & Campaigns
  • Preparing Marketing & Promotional Materials
  • Lead Generation Activities
  • Following up leads by email, telephone, and site visits
  • Speaking at Seminars & Conferences
  • Demonstrating Software Applications
